We’ve put together some of the best surfers and instructors born and raised in Siargao Island to teach you all you need to be confident in the water.
BEGINNER COURSE
Our courses for beginners involve a detailed theory sessions every day in our classroom to help students understand the complex elements involved such as gear selection, reading the tides, swells, and of course, safety. After theory, step into the water and learn how to read and select the right waves, pop up with ease, and paddle into your own waves. If you want to get serious about surfing we recommend to take our 5-days beginner course. This course will teach you the basics you will need to become an independent surfer in the future. After finishing our 5-day course you will receive a certificate of participation and notes with main highlights of the course.
If you take 5 days course we will arrange videographer to take videos of you during surfing so you can see where to improve during post surf analysis. You have an option of hiring photographer yourself for shorter courses. The course follows the standard curriculum certified by ISA (International Surfing Association) and moderated by members of SISA (Siargao Island Surfers Association).
INTERMEDIATE COURSE
We now offer new Intermediate Surf Courses! These are geared towards surfers who have already gone through beginners courses before and want to improve their surf skills exponentially. Unlike beginner surfers, intermediate surfers all have different skill sets which they need to improve on. One intermediate surfer is very different from the next, so our intermediate course is very much personalized. The first session would require our surf coaches to interview you and what you need to improve as well as have a practical surf guiding session to see what improvements you need. From there, the intermediate surf theory classes will help you understand concepts that will allow you to focus on to improve your surfing.

____________♥___________SURF GUIDING 1 ON 1Harana Surf School offers surf guiding for surfers, who are independent in the water, able to catch their own waves and follow surf rules in the water. Our instructors have a right to ask you to have 1 surf lesson first to check your surfing skills. Your guide will also remind you the surf rules and explain what to expect at the particular break while on land.

Our instructors have a right to check your surfing skills first to make sure that you are not going to be danger for yourself and others. Strictly for intermediate level surfers.
