     VOLUNTEER TOURS

Schedule some immersive tours around the island that help in various livelihood projects run by Lokal Lab. These immersive tours vary from visiting traditional weavers of Caridad to planting in in organic farms of the North.

   ENVIRONMENTAL MISSON

Join SEA Movement volunteers and explore the various Protected Sea Scapes of Siargao. Help protect the various Marine Protected Areas (MPA’S) of Siargao, championed by SEA Movement to restore marine life in the area.

   HELP RE-BUILD HOMES

You can also join in various re-building efforts to help build a stronger and sturdier Siargao. Immediately after Typhoon Odette, many Siargao-nons were able to build temporary homes for temporary shelter. this was done through relief efforts community wide. The goal now is to help build stronger homes that will withstand future typhoons.

     

   SURF

Beginner, Intermediate, and world-class waves. With over 30+ breaks throughout the island including Cloud 9 and Tuason directly in front of Harana Surf Resort!

  ISLAND HOPPING

Take a boat out and go surfing at Daku Island then have a picnic on the beach. On the way back, check out Naked Island, and watch the sunset at Guyam. Boat leaves from peer located in the Boulevard.

   SOHOTON CAVES

Just south of the surfing spots, Sohoton Cave boasts one of the most beautiful attractions in Siargao. It has everything from pristine lakes, secret coves, beautiful lagoons, and amazing rock and coral formations.

     

    MAGPUPUNGKO ROCK POOLS

Need a break from surf? Check out the natural rock pools during low tide. It’s only about an hour away from General Luna. Rock Pools is excellent for relaxation and renewal.

   DEEP SEA FISHING

Siargao boasts the only international big game fishing tournament in the Philippines. Anglers fly in from all over the world to compete. Want to try your luck? Take a boat out from Pilar and catch tuna, mahi-mahi, or even blue marlin!

   PADDLE BOARD MANGROVE TOUR

Siargao boasts the Largest mangrove reserve in the Philippines. There are a few Paddleboard tours through these wonderful natural labrynths. Get lost in them one afternoon.

     

   DIVING / FREE DIVING

Take dive tours throughout the island from Siargao’s Coral Sanctuary, to Shipwrecks. Get your diving certifications while on the island. There are programs for both Free Diving and Scuba Diving

   SUGBA LAGOON TOUR

Enjoy the beauty of Sugba Lagoons located in Del Carmen. Surrounded by limestone hills, Sugba boasts a 87 hectare area and maintains one of the largest mangrove forests in the Philippines. The Lagoon Tours are community based and operated by the Municipal Government of Del Carmen.

   MOUNTAIN BIKING

There are many undiscovered and virgin trails throughout the island. Given the topographical contours of the island, Mountain Bikers will be sure to have a blast zipping through trees and mud.
